Research Interests
My research interests include a broad area of global change ecology. Particularly, I use the technique of dendrochronology to study environmental problems and their effects on tree growth on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. My research goals are
to examine the history of forest decline and how it is linked to climate extremes or disturbances
to reconstruct the history of climate change
to understand the history of treeline formation and dynamics
